Snow Leopard Tour - birds

Many exciting birds occur in Hemis National Park. White-browed Tit-warbler is found along the river-beds. Robin Accentor and Brown Accentor are often found in camp. Red-billed Chough, Alpine Chough, Golden Eagle, Himalayan Griffon Vulture and Lammergeier are often found whilst looking for Snow Leopard. Himalayan Snowcock, Tibetan Snowfinch and Tibetian Partridge require a little more effort to find. Hill Pigeon is regular and whilst scanning high-up, Snow Pigeon can be seen.

Leh is the start point for other birds that can be seen in Ladakh and these species can be looked for if requested - Summer Mammal and Bird Tour.
